Did the owner get a Marti Report?  I can see the sign at the car show now....  Of the 7300 TCs built, this one is a piece of crap too.  ND

Ohh... if this can be turned into beer cans, I suddenly have a little more respect for it.

you’re fucking a lot of people, but it sounds like you need to fuck your wife

This seems like an awful lot of deep thought and prose to waste on a sub $3k hooptie with wheels that aren’t even the same size, let alone the same style. You’ve done Jalopdom proud.

Have you never just been “done” with a car? I don’t fault a seller for an unwillingness to fix anything, no matter how trivial, on a ~$2k car. I’m certain that there are hundreds of “cheap and easy” fixes a car at this price needs, and you have to draw the line somewhere.

Funky? Different? 4x4? Less than 15k? I got you Sean.

Golly that Lada looks like a 90's Range Rover mated with a 2016 Jeep Renegade.

$4k gets you my off road ready 1994 Plymouth Voyager.

I get the appeal for these, and the price doesn’t seem too bad..... BUT....

As I was typing this a little voice in my head was going “Hey Sid, you have a 1960's GM big block V8 and it starts every time you turn the key and has for the last 25 years. And that VW engine is probably reliable, too. I’ll bet a bunch of people will start up with you in the comments...”

This was $50k?

Good catch! I’m only on my third beer this morning, so my eyes aren’t working yet! :)

The ad includes pics of both engine and gearbox out of the car while being refreshed.

Call me crazy but I’m pretty stoked.

I know have this image of David with a huge bottle of white-out and sharpie. The neighbors think “What now?” :)

Reliant Robin. Buy several. Your insurance company will be VERY concerned.

Depends if it is at the top or the bottom of a hill. You wouldn’t want to be in front of it on the downhill sections if no brake upgrades have been made.

I just looked on CL in my area and immediately found a 2000 Civic with 200k on the clock. Needs a CV joint and VTEC solenoid gasket replaced. Comes with both parts. Clean title, $900.

If you’re looking to turn some heads at the truck stop, I think this will do it. Lot lizards will know you mean business, too, with that buxom vixen on the trunk.
