Years ago, I got to visit the driveshaft testing center for GM. Basically, they spun the driveshafts to the point of failure. The testing equipment was in an area surrounded by cinderblocks. There wasn’t a single block that didn’t have massive holes from the shrapnel coming from the failing driveshafts. E=1/2m v^2. …

The real issue we have is thinking that we have to settle on a single solution for all needs.  Every change helps.  Even if it is incremental.  The worst thing we can do is nothing.

That interior is awesome.  Could you imagine settling in there for a nice cross-country drive.  It would catch on fire before you got to the highway, but it would nice thinking about it.
