The current Braves stadium isn’t even 20 years old. It’s in great shape actually. Field has top notch drainage and suction, so games are rarely stopped for rain and rain delays are minimal. There’s huge walkways surrounding the stadium etc. Nothing wrong with the current location. Braves wanted improvements residents…

We’re a fair weather fan base. Win or we don’t show up. The current owners have drained the talent from the team over the last decade or so and now the organization will be vocal about fans showing up and then they’ll spend more and make the team better.
