Right, China is posting cat videos and challenges. Maybe some twerk videos too. Oh and makeup tutorials. Can’t forget about them. Have you ever even gone on tiltok? I’d wager that you haven’t. But you’ll let someone else form your opinions for you.

You done yelling at clouds already, pops?
We’re talking about American citizens here. What China does or does not do with its own citizens is irrelevant.
I stand corrected. The prior iterations of the bill didn’t mention tiktok by name.
You mistakenly believe we live in a democracy.
It’s not about privacy or national security or even China. That’s just a shiny object to distract the rubes. It’s about the government’s ability to censor on demand like it does with Meta, Twitter, and Google, et. al. The idea is to control the official narrative without any pushback and to remove a tool for dissent.
This bill is so much more than a tiktok ban. It doesn’t even mention tiktok specifically. It would give the US government discretion to ban any app or even website it wants to under the pretext of “national security”.
If you read the text of the bill it doesn’t specifically mention tiktok. This bill is a trojan horse meant to give security services even more power over what we can see.

Censorship in the name of “safety” or “national security” or whatever strawman the ruling class uses to strike fear in the…
US imperialism is a bipartisan project.
What’s morally abhorrent is child slave labor employed in mining cobalt and other rare earth minerals used to power EV batteries and the battery on the device you’re using to type this diatribe.

Show me where I defended Joe Rogan. I’ve only listened to one of his podcasts where he interviewed a comedian from my home town. Which I’d wager is one more that you. I’m not a fan nor am I a subscriber. I’m also not going to bash him like you hive-mind Liberals because he said something I don’t agree with.

The man on tv said Rogan is a conspiracy nut, so the good little Libs follow orders.
