I agree with you. The sad part is that within 50 or so years, these animals will have disappeared from everywhere in the world except zoos.

Does CM, the movie, have a “feminist agenda”, or are people saying that because the actor who played CM was outspoken about sexism? These movies are created to make money. They wouldn’t be making superhero films with female leads unless there was a considerable audience demographic for them. And has it occurred to you…
“When you make a movie for the sake of virtue signnaling”
Yeah just like they came up with Pizzagate...
It would have been ok on its own but the changes they made to tame it down sucked all the personality out of the source material.

To what objective standard of “viable mates” are you referring? I’m going to go out on a limb and assume you’re a male person who probably wouldn’t evaluate men based on what the average woman would consider to be mating criteria.
Ravenous is an awesome movie but I think I’ll have to rewatch to get the music — somehow I don’t remember it so well.
Thanks for Natural Born Killers. I was about to start angry-typing. I don’t think the movie has aged well; Oliver Stone was always a bit over the top but damn. A particularly good Leonard Cohen song. Cowboy Junkies singing Velvet Underground. Patti Smith. The whole thing was pretty solid.
