I feel like I have just failed a test.

Until this article, I still thought they were all female!! Shows when I stopped paying attention, apparently (disclosure: the last hurricane of significance in my personal history — besides Katrina, obvs — was Isabel. It got downgraded to "tropical storm" but not before I lost power for 3 weeks and had to drive…
The Hurricane, meet Rudy Ray Moore. And yes, I _saw_ that movie (slinks away).
OH DEAR GOD. Filing this one.
Ah, the old standby. Honestly my OP wasn't even really worth saying, I was just so infuriated, especially by the part about her family endorsing it, the devil just got into my typing hand.
"It's not like they have the talent or the imagination or the creativity or the vision to do anything productive with themselves"
Just in case MRA's actually want an example of women being "disposable"...
She maintained her physique very well, no question. I just doubt her efforts would have yielded the same results if she didn't already have conventionally attractive features and proportions (which she didn't create — that was just an accident of genetics).
At least Peaches Geldof had the decency to leave a beautiful corpse, amirite?
Agreed, it's an inaccurate comparison.
Then close your eyes. Life is ugly.
Demented? I don't know about that. Some of us can find beauty in the human form that's universal; it's not always about hierarchy. And fyi, appreciating art by Michelangelo is very much about acknowledging the effort and skill that went into it.
Of course it isn't, but let's not pretend there aren't social benefits to being thin. People aspire to it for a reason.
Going to a nude co-ed spa was pretty therapeutic that way. There was something oddly equalizing about being around all these different naked people, even if some were more attractive than I am. Just being naked outside is amazing!
I want a wig made of this. Or better yet, a body mod for my natural hair.
Yeah true, I'm thinner than these women but less attractive. Thin does not always mean pretty any more than fat always = ugly.
At least you can bite someone without getting euthanized.
Nah people get jealous because they see pet owners treating pets better than their parents treated them.
Cool! I always liked her sculptures. This one seems pretty tame to me compared to some of her other pieces.
