I haven’t seen a Volvo as claiming safest car in a very long time. I have seen Tesla make that claim despite robust empirical evidence showing otherwise.

Is jail really the best place for her? She clearly has mental health problems, sounds like some sort of intense paranoia and compulsive behavior, and should be in a secure treatment facility, not a jail. Jail isn’t gonna cure her, and is not going to help her. It seems cruel.

I mean, it might not be drugs...but it sounds like drugs. I had to spend a day with someone coming down off a meth trip recently and its pretty much exactly this. people following him, phone spying on him/talking to him, a need to flee.

It’s great they do this, not only because unprotected left turns are a challenge for the machine, but because they’re dangerous, in general. Humans should try to avoid them, too.

It would still be a problem because it’s unsafe software being beta-tested on public roads.
