Agreed, and I wasn’t weighing in on the facts of shooting, just the grading of the offense.
2nd degree murder is typically a crime of passion where there was an intent to kill. Manslaughter is death that results from a violent act, but there was no intent to kill, in my jurisdiction (not Oklahoma).
My second son was Andrew for his first few days, but it just didn’t work. He became Max (Maxwell) soon thereafter, and it was a fucking nightmare getting it changed with the Social Security Admin. Have the name figured out pre-paperwork folks.
‘Marron’ is the French word for ‘brown’ and it sounds like ‘maroon’ when pronounced. Not sure if it plays a role here, but it could be related.
