Did they ever come up with a good reason to cover characters they already established a history for? I just couldn’t suspend my disbelief since the subject of their parents was well tread in the series.

Right, because there’s never any backlash when someone names their abusers in this world. Honestly good chance that whoever they name might get cancelled up front, but long term it makes them a martyr and there’s rarely any moral gain.

Just got back, and this movie deserves all the good press it’s getting.  It crushed it.  Will definitely go down as one of the best sequels on best sequels list.

Groundbreaking movie. Cinema in the future cannot skip over the part where a movie studio had a 20+ film arc that cumulated into 2 of the highest grossing movies ever.  And it all started with this film.

100% what the show needed. Somewhere around season 9/10 they should have cut the series down to the 8-13 length popular now and just made it main storyline, and yeah I bet it’d still be going.
