To be clear - Whedon left Disney before this all started rolling in. The bad exec Marvel holdover (that also jaded Portman, said that no one would care if they replaced Howard from Iron Man because ‘he’s black’, and whose meddling had a lot to do with AoU’s mess - and subsequently Whedon’s burnout) was the fulcrum

Seriously, everyone one of these things I punish myself to click on, I come across a comment that’s like “Here’s the points you’re trying to make but you did it badly” and then look at the author and realize “Damn, I shoulda known who it was”.

The more I read Bricken’s movie commentary, the more I’m convinced they need to fire him and hire the far more level headed Yttrium to write articles rather than the incendiary “FIND DRAMA FOR DRAMA’S SAKE” Bricken.

Speak for yourself. Some people don’t think that much about movies and don’t bother looking/reading up on details and were blissfully ignorant.

Exactly this - of all the options given, the most supported path in this country is abortion because carrying to term without national healthcare coverage is prohibitive for so many people even when it’s gone perfectly.

So am I wrong in thinking the watch implied Clint’s wife was shield too?  Agent 19?  Because he said something about not losing her stuff.  Feels like that was a setup too...

Wow, some trash hot takes here.  Got your clicks, so what do you care, right?

That’s not a trailer and more of a short - I have zero problem with shorts. I loved the little mini-stories they’d throw on the MCU DVDs/BluRays in Phase one. That’s just world-building and I am *all* for world building.

Hulk should have 100% been kept under wraps. People were already going to see it - had that not been spoiled people would have lost their damn minds over that awesome reveal.

100% why I don’t even want to see anything before the movie. Between people overblowing microscopic moments in trailers and the studios throwing all reveals into trailers because they can’t help but spoil their own product (It’s not the creators choosing to reveal in trailers, it’s marking loosing their god damn minds

As someone who actively avoided all trailers and promotions and conversations about any future MCU properties and am watching them as much as I can in real time:

Just another notch down the “Full Dystopian” nightmare that is the US that would seem ‘far fetched’ if someone had written a story this in it.

Almost got them, then saw the shipping.  Not the deal they’re making it out to be.

YOU HAD ME AT AMY HENNING DOING A MARVEL GAME.

Most fictional thing about this film is how many young nuns they had.

Blurred Lines was always rapey - never could enjoy it with that vibe.

100 % - that absolutely trash sarcasm? So is the author siding with Disney in this? Trash commentary is absolutely garbage here.

Not knowing this was a play musical before I saw the trailer, after the trailer I thought 2 things 1) I’ve seen the whole story....why would I bother and 2) it looks like one of those god-awful (I stand by my accidental pun) “made by Christian money” movies.  I didn’t hear about them pray for guidance, but damn I

The reverse you’re saying is it’s alright that is Disney gets to only keep positive results and ignore any of the negative.

This is the line that got me to see the movie. The movie didn’t hold up, but the line did.
