Without question, Kain from Soul Reaver/Soul Reaver 2. He was a playable character in other games, but as a NPC it was just a master class on voice acting and writing. People don’t write like that anymore.

RE6 really isn’t a good game. Getting through Leon’s Story (my favorite character in the RE franchise) was a chore, and I couldn’t be bothered even going much further past that.
