How is it up till now people were cheaters, but Joss gets in here and it’s all the keywords we’ve learned in the last 10 years.

Ruffalo was only big on the indie scene. In fact, Joss had his eye on him for the part, but had to pitch it to the execs. When he did finally pitch the idea for picking someone who’s not a name in big movies, they said “Well, honestly, I’m not sure unless it was someone like Ruffalo.”

The “She’s a monster cause she can’t have kids” being the point of her arc was a bad “edgy hot take” then and it’s just asinine now. Bringing it up to defend a point you’re trying to make just makes your point look worse.

I am actually stoked as we still talk about how much we enjoyed Clone High.

Moments like this it kills me that we have to use the word “reportedly” when a video like this with a clear look at her face and the word clearly said over and over again exists.

While there is always room for improvement, as a female player for years one thing I did like was the improvement in the portrayal of female characters between 4th and 5th edition.

That’s a mistake - Great film. Groundhog Day style where a smarmy Tom Cruise gets murdered over and over, add to that badass Emily Blunt? How do you lose? And a side of over the top Bill Paxton Army Sergeant?

Dumb question time - I played like the first 5.5 games and ran out of time. Really interested in picking this up, but also like to follow stories. How much does the overarching story still matter at this point?

Honestly for the most part I can wait on just about any movie, and willing to watch them at home as VOD for a large part. (Ideally with a group of friends, but that’ll have to wait of course).

I mean, man. You’re not even trolling well. This is like t-ball levels of attempt. I’m embarrassed *for* you with how bad this was.

So excited. Cannot wait for all of the content.

Right?!  Twist my arm...

As someone who did not enjoy Nu-Trek, I’m going to point out you’re largely wrong and in the minority. But it’s a wonderful world where you can have this very detailed and incorrect opinion.

Disagree on Ex Machina. My father and I enjoy a good sci-fi flick, and if we hadn’t streamed it free with Prime we’d have asked for our money back. Largely boring and disappointing.

“Things not worth reading on io9"

See, the problem with this statement is you’ve just nerfed any respect she might have gotten. It’s no longer about getting the best candidate which could be (and should be as we’ve got so many qualified candidates) a woman. Now you’ve turned it into a “token position” and she only got it because he was determined to

Sadly simple bidets aren’t always an option. I live in an old apartment building and my toilet has no exposed nozzles to attach too. It’s basically a high-power flush you’d see in a restaurant like McDonalds :/

I’m seconding mcarp22 here. Play on words by a writer, who’d have thought?

Questions are a perfectly valid way to do a headline. They’re not telling you, they asked a question and the article has an answer. “Does it work? I don’t know, guess I’ll have to read to find out.”  Misleading headlines are worse. This one actually got me to read it instead of skip it because it opened the door for

Will never not reread the headline as “Lawyers upset that women finally feel able to come forward about about abuse their clients have inflicted upon them. Preferred it when they were easily shamed into silence like the good old days.”
