I enjoyed the Microsoft band. Loved it while I had it. But they had to replace it twice because within the year the band kept ripping. I wasn’t doing anything other than wearing it, but inevitably it would rip. Could have had it replaced a 3rd time but by then they’d announced they’d stop supporting it, so I gave it

Holy shit, someone’s talking about Vagrant Story. This is the one game that I come back to every 10 years, remembering how it’s the one game I didn’t beat that I always wanted to beat. Tried maybe a decade ago to do it again, still never made it to the end (time this time). I have a video qued that’s the full gameplay

Ironically, I’ve been not into the Arrowverse much at all (bit too cheesy and wonky writing for me), and saw this trailer - it gets a “huh, not bad” from me. I like Joel McHale, and I like Luke Wilson, and I’m feeling a little nostalgic for the younger me who couldn’t wait for the 90s Flash series to come on each

“How did I do it, was it good?” /rollingonfloorlaughing

Now playing

Sad news. I’ll always remember him as Janos in The Legacy of Kain game series.

That would have been amazing - and if they’d actually kept it out of promos it would have been hands-down the most talked about scene of the movie. That being said sadly no matter how hard I work to avoid spoilers (thank you Spoiler Protection 2.0 chrome extension) other than leaving the internet there’s no way to

“A trailer for a movie or TV show—a thing specifically released in advance to advertise to you, entice you to experience something, by the people who made it? That’s a spoiler now. The mere mention that a twist happens in a story, for example, is a spoiler because now you know that there’s a twist, even if you don’t

So many “Why didn’t they leave sooner if they didn’t like it” comments, and they forget the victims also get told “Oh, you didn’t stick it out, so you don’t deserve anything”

Ah good, I didn’t miss the victim blaming portion of the comment section.

“This shows that Riot is serious about changing the culture at the company.” Riot told Kotaku

The follow up being, what am I paying high coffee prices for if not for this sort of preparation? It is literally why they have the job.

100% agree. I’m already paying you for the food, and if the packaging needs extra charges, then charge me (some places do) but I’m done trying to figure out why I need to pay more for the food I ordered and am picking up myself. If I’m not paying more than the food is worth to have it packaged for me what am I paying

Easiest solution, dissolve the tipping economy and just pay people a living wage. It should not be this complicated and is a huge gap for people not familiar with the services. No one talks about it, so it means that people who don’t realize this is a thing look like idiots for not doing it.

I’m just gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that you’re not implying that the casting director is the only important role in determining the success of the movie. Sarah did an amazing job and she too often doesn’t get enough credit, but to say that all the Avengers success has nothing to do with the director

See, I blame myself. It was only when I returned to this comment section than I realized I engaged a popular io9 troll. My bad. Well played troll, I shall leave you to troll others now as the only proper course of action at this point is to disengage the troll and move on.

Obviously you want to build on the foundations. You can only hope later projects improve upon what you build. The Avengers was proof positive this universe could be something. And while it does have it’s flaws (as all movies do), it still holds its own as a great movie, just maybe not the best in a field of so many

Joss removed himself after getting exhausted working around the MCU in-fighting that produced the turbulent Phase 2.

Two words. The Avengers. Your argument is invalid.

Normally I run to the hills as Walking Dead has no interest in story quality. But I do at least want to see if they’re going to make an attempt at having an actual well-written plotline with characters that act within character not just because it’s convenient.

Also, the other side being retail workers that hold back items so that they can sell limited items themselves and never make them available to the public like they’re supposed to.
