The only way Heredity made me question my sanity was me wondering why the hell I bothered to buy a ticket.  I saw and agree with almost everything else on the list - especially Searching and Game Night.  Sorry to Bother You and Black Klansmen were both a great watch too.

The only way Heredity made me question my sanity was me wondering why the hell I bothered to buy a ticket.  I saw

“I’m done, so I’ll just say all the nasty shit I wanted to say all along. No more pretending to be a decent human being.”  Which, by the way, he already sucked at.

This has been the theory for a while. It’s hardly even retconning since you go back and watch Avengers and see when Thor tells him to look at what he’s done, and Loki has this confused, manic look about him, not one of someone pleased with what he’s wrought.

Hereditary was so boring and scattered that nothing deserved to make this list. Seriously, I’m still only vaguely recalling any sort of head-banging. Another scene head-related stuck out surely, but not what you’re describing. Could just be anything that was worthwhile in the movie just can’t make it past all the

I hadn’t even heard of this but now I have to dig in and find out more...

Nah. I mean, maybe a minute or two could have been shaved, but I don’t think it’s damning enough with everything else that was great about the movie to pull it off the list. If there was a weak point to the movie, that would be it, so I agree with you there. But I did feel a LOT of time was wasted in a movie like

Counterpoint, MI:Fallout was great and deserved to be higher on the list for nailing just about everything in the movie.

100% agree on Hereditary.

You’ve got Hereditary on the wrong list. Just FYI.

You’ve also not actually read anything on this because 1) there’s video that was submitted that tried to paint her badly but instead captured the harassment on video and 2) it wasn’t just that he did it, it’s that because he did it and got away with it the rest of the crew became emboldened by his example and

This is great.

It’s one of my least favorite because instead of sounding awesome and empowering it’s more that it brings women down to the level of neckbeards and uses the power of semantics to try and nitpick your way to a win. Cheap victory.

All I know is that as soon as the movie was over I was ready to watch the next one. Don’t know what form that will take, but I am ALL IN for more of this universe.

I had the very same issue, and while I still found it distracting, I can appreciate that they did it in ode to the old off-register problem of print, especially being in print myself and having to try to line up those damn marks for a couple years early in my career.

Feels pretty great actually. I’m good with this being the case every year. LotR I miss. Star Wars, not so much.

The music is a fair criticism. I don’t feel as strongly as her on it being bad, but they definitely have failed to get any real iconic music anyone remembers as a theme for the characters. Marvel missed the boat on that.

Counterpoint: Glow IS good, and better in the 2nd season. My friends and I have watched it separately not even realizing that the others watched it, and now we all talk about it and are all looking forward to a 3rd season.

I was a big fan of L&C back when it was on, but once she knew the series went bad fast. So bad that our weekly group get-together became non-existent. And her outfits got downright ugly most episodes. And I don’t care about outfits, that’s how bad they got.

I have not seen this before and it is everything.

Uuuuugh I cheered when the finally booted her and now they want to bring her back. Nauseating.
