I’m just going go with a solid “nope” to this. Based on decades of never hearing it pronounced “ness” by anyone who games. Ever.

Came looking for this point. Frankly Venom already came out in the form of Upgrade.
The answer now is he’s an admiral and obviously has to deal with those parasitic lifeforms taking over Starfleet that they’ve left to fester since season 1 ST:TNG.
YES!!! This is exactly how I was explaining it to people. I felt like I was cold in the theater until I realized my shaking was related to how anxious I was and watching with my fists clenched. Man it was a ride.
Brother’s Grimm was bad bad bad. Not worth the rewatch. And some of the worst CGI.
Okay that was fun to watch.
So what you’re saying is I have to watch Altered Carbon now.
Actually...this works for me. Whatever they did worked. This trailer was unwatchable for me last time - way too f-ed up. But this? I am so on board for this. Nice job, guys.
I had to read that bit 3 times before I realized they were typing those on purpose, especially never hearing that phrasing before. And wow I hope I never have to try and verbalize that in conversation...
One of the morals here is that if you’re making jokes because you claim you’re provocative, you’re just being an asshole and time will show that.
You’re right. Just because he intended it as humor does not excuse what was tweeted, and you know it’s bad when people don’t want to copy/paste what he said because who the hell wants that crap associated with their name anywhere on the internet? We see this is a hit job, and I’m pissed we’re holding our side to a…
There is no business that survives the optics of supporting someone who made those tweets. Not for the unthinking masses. We love to believe people are smarter than they are and are just being asses, but the reality is a lot of people are too dumb and ignorant to see the difference. When you’re a business you need the…
I never saw it as funny. I saw it as most of Disney’s princess aren’t something girls should aspire too be and people desperately want female role models that are their own person, don’t live their life to find a man, and can handle their shit.
Kudos to someone creating the Junk Lady from Labyrinth.
Seriously. Just gotta embrace it! If there’s a chance of non AC-related highjinks, I pick a bra I don’t mind sweating in and a dark colored t-shirt that won’t show it all that much and live my life.
Acceptance is huge. Especially when people act shocks your sweaty, being able to own it and calmly reply, “Yes, I’m sweaty. I’m a sweater. That’s who I am.” gets me through the summer.
Ironically my armpits are rarely my worst sweat culprits. I’d considered the botox shots, but I sweat the most from my scalp and my back. Not sure the shots would help me so much.
The struggle is real. I have a half mile walk to work, and unless it’s winter, I start sweating. Putting my hair up bought me an extra minute, so shaving my head this past fall has helped a bit. But it’s to the point everyone in the office knows I won’t stop and talk to them when I get in. I’m at the sweat-overflow…
But...she’s a girl? They have to be the ones that whine and cry and have to be saved by the love of a boy. It’s like you don’t understand women at all...
I was just going to reiterate what modernboy said, so instead just read their post again cause they nailed the crux of the issue.
