I think unfortunately most people consider any actor that isn't a celebrity a struggling actor. I have a number of friends who are working actors and make their income only from that, but are complete unknowns, and I'd say they are wonderfully successful in that they get paid to do what they love!

Not a pit, but this is my sweet little girl Zoe, who is a rescue. She loves to snuggle while I play on the internet.

I'm taking my first ballet class in 8 years tomorrow morning!! I'm about 60 lbs heavier, and a million times less athletic than I was when I quit dancing at 22 yrs old.

Oh man! Those are determined thieves! That seems crazy that someone robbing a house would go to those lengths. But, I guess criminals aren't exactly the most sane.

That would be perfection! I am hoping for big things from Lady Rose, she is a very intriguing character. I think she's meant to replace the rebellious spirit that Sybil used to provide, and I am definitely ok with that!

After all the comments in the Christmas special about how nasty Mary is, and how Matthew is the only one who sees the sweet side of her, I worry that they are going to run with that and turn Mary into a bitter widow who makes life miserable for everyone.

Why haven't they bought a gun safe? I would think that the cost of replacing guns, which aren't cheap, would be worth the cost of a $500-700 safe. Plus, you can keep important documents, jewelry, etc in them, as well! My dad has always had a good safe, and uses it for more than just guns.

That's a great story! We're designing my ring right now, and I'm using opals from earrings that I got from my dad as a kid, and the diamonds from my mom's original engagement ring, which she offered to me, since she has an upgraded ring now. I love the idea of using stones from family!

It seems mind-boggling to me to judge this woman for not being prepared to do nude scenes, given the network she was working for. If she was hired for the job and not told she had to do nude scenes, then she seems well within her rights to sue for being told at the last minute that she had to do it, or risk legal

Are you saying that the quotes from him aren't actually what he said? The source article contains the same quotes.

Oh man! Leslie would be so ashamed of me!! (Also, I actually just checked to see if Alta Vista still works, and it does!)

Google. Also Bing. If you're really old school, Yahoo.

It very well could be! My memory about it is foggy, at best.

I was raised in the church and from what I can recall, I think it's more in reference to an actual pearl, and the value of them and the difficulty of obtaining a pearl, hence the value of the new doctrine and the difficulty with which it came about. But a reference to "pearls of wisdom" can't be discounted either.

Well, in one episode they did a call back with Barney typing on a computer and narrating just like in Doogie, so there's hope for a Buffy reference!

That's actually how I got the earrings from my dad. When I was younger he had a ring with a big opal and the stone cracked, so he had the pieces made into earrings and a necklace. The necklace was unfortunately stolen. I'll talk to the jeweler and see if he has any recommendations!

I've been planning to get these opal earrings I have turned in to a ring, and tonight I was talking to my dude about how expensive it is to get custom jewelry made. He said, why don't you get the custom design you really want and I'll help pay for it and then it can be your wedding ring.

I always love at sheep and wool festivals seeing the old dudes that have been running sheep farms for years sitting in their booths knitting away on something or other.

Ha, that is the first thing I thought of when they were talking about declaring things.

OMG "I think that's Hogwarts for kindergarten" had me dying laughing. Amazing!
