I'm baking chocolate chip cookies tonight, and I think I've eaten about 5 cookies worth of dough while baking. It just takes too long to wait for them to cool!!

I'm getting drunk, knitting a sweater, and baking chocolate chip cookies. I'm fairly certain this is what it was like to be a housewife in the 50s. Except instead of a child, I have a 2 year old lab who just ate chicken bones out of the garbage.

At my ballet school as a child (a pretty strict conservatory), I would have been immediately kicked out of class for doing something like that! I wonder if she got away with it very often.

Well, from what I know (which is not much) freezing and storing eggs is not something to be done lightly. It's EXTREMELY expensive (a friend of mine got leukemia at 18 and her parents paid for her to freeze her eggs before starting chemo). I would say (again from not knowing much about it and just for myself) unless

A fellow Utahn here! I don't know much about cheese (though I will eat almost any cheese someone puts in front of me), but I shop at Harmon's and I've always been impressed by what seems like a large variety of fancy cheeses. I've never looked at the origin of these cheeses, so perhaps they are all fairly local. But

Oh my gosh Wide Open Spaces gets me every time too!!! Never fails. I haven't listened to that song in years, but I have no doubt that I would start sobbing immediately if I heard it again.

I loved that one as well! She has great comedic timing, and seems so at ease with playing odd characters like that Wallace! Wallace could almost become a new version of Pat!

I'm not sure I understand if you are serious with this comment or not. I'm going to go with 'not sarcastic' because it doesn't read as sarcastic to me (except your last question).

I bet they froze them from last year's batch, and now are charging triple the price!

Yeah, I agree. If you could be someone's parent (or actually have a child their age) you should not be dating them. And I can't imagine being attracted to someone my father's age! (George Clooney is younger than my father by quite a few years, so I give that one a pass!)

I'm in a relationship with a man who is 9 years older than me.

Yes, that is definitely true, one of my nephews went through a hitting phase when he was frustrated and couldn't yet express himself vocally.

Yikes! He actually sounds like maybe he had some anger issues as a child.

I understand your points about using the sperm/eggs of a spouse who didn't give explicit consent for harvesting after death. But I wonder what the harm could be? If it was a married couple, and the surviving spouse wanted to have a child that was from both of them, is that really so bad? It's not like tricking someone

I can definitely see your point about all the other traditional aspects of the wedding hoopla. I do find it strange when women only choose certain aspects of the wedding complex to dislike. For myself, I have no desire for a proposal (let's discuss if we want to get married!), an engagement ring (why am I the only one

I've always felt that way about my initials! The are TLC, and I've loved them my whole life. I'm not inclined to change my name, especially because I don't want to lose the C in TLC.

You have an interesting point of view. Would you be upset or offended if your future wife didn't take your name? What if she kept her own name legally, and just referred to herself with your last name whenever she felt like it? (That's my plan, so I wonder how a man feels about it! haha)

Can I join? That sounds awesome.

Yay internet siblings!!

I have green eyes with black freckles!
