Another reason this is stupid is because there is ALREADY a recent and perfect movie called ‘Life Itself’. It’s based off of Roger Ebert’s amazing memoirs of the same name and is a documentary made with such warmth, affection, and unflinching honesty as to fill you up with so much good will that it starts spilling out…

I’m not really a fan-fic person (also, not a fan of either), but I have to believe there’s some universe where they just fuck on a Thomas Kinkade painting, then fall asleep in each other’s tears.

A story worth hearing?

I don’t mean to sidetrack from the issue but it drives me nuts, as a Deaf man, that a website that touts and makes hay from touting (or ramming down) progressive ideals constantly pushes out podcasts without transcripts or videos without captions.

I, for one, love these shirts in the same way I love Confederate flag and MAGA merch. It tells you right away that the person is an asshole and should be avoided at all costs, as demonstrated by Jared Leto above. 

Right. It’s not women who are confused about the difference between harassment and assault. Most of us learn that first hand, at very young ages, a lesson which is repeated often enough so that there’s really no opportunity to forget.

Well said. She might have seen the chores as being treated like a slave. She also has likely had her memories colored by Allen. I know my siblings and I viewed our upbringing very differently, even though we were all raised by the same parents. 

It’s really telling about that specific man when he thinks that all men can be accused of “something.”

Yep. Let's be fair. Who among us HASN'T held down a struggling woman on a bed, groping her and trying to get her clothes off, clamping a hand over her mouth so she can't scream, while our best buddies watch? If this is somehow considered BAD behaviour, we're all in trouble!
