Yeah, ya know who was also not legally guilty (the first time) but was also a social pariah? OJ Simpson. I wonder if this guy has a hot take on that. Nixon literally committed treason and obstruction of justice but was somehow pardoned anyway. This is not a shocking new concept.

I always want to ask “How many women?  How many fucking women will it take before you just automatically say ‘yeah, this guy is a predator,’ cuz I’ll just wait for that many women to come forward and we won’t have to repeat this conversation for the 47th time.

I think there’s a whole segment of the male population that has literally never had to think about their actions before. They just go about life, never considering that anyone might have a different feeling about their interactions than they do, or that anyone could be literally scarred by them and still be angry…

The Press cannot “publish anything they want.” They need to be fact checking articles, especially something as touchy and hot-button as anything to do with the #metoo movement.  For the public good but also for their own safety.  This article could get them sued for libel.

There’s a scene in the John Adams mini series where his daughter has a breast removed without any anesthesia. It’s an extremely difficult scene to watch. When they later find a lump in her other breast she basically says “yeah, I think I’ll just let things take their natural course here.”

And children don’t need to be treated in wildly unequal ways to SEE and EXPERIENCE that treatment in different ways. Some kids see doing chores as feeling useful and grown up and others see it as the most horrible slave labor ever forced on anyone. A light spanking to one child is a punch in the face to another.…

I don’t see how any of what was in that list that would make Mia Farrow a monster. She fostered children in her home and tried to adopt them to varying success. That’s common.

I was gonna say, I did all of that and more when I was a kid.  I had to, gasp!, mow the lawn, take the garbage out, wash dry and put away the dishes, clean the bathrooms, etc., etc., etc.

Well, to use an analogy, we both love and play football in our spare time, played football in college, watch football on TV and discuss the outcome of various games, and regularly attend local football games. Hamilton is the SUPERBOWL of musical theater and he got to go for free. Why would it not be a big deal to him?
