It’s the same people (usually men) who are like “I knew that band before they were popular” and “both sides are bad, I just didn’t vote at all.” They eschew labels because they don’t want to be thought of as uncool or have to make a choice and later find out that they might be wrong.

I think the disconnect happens because conservatives/Republicans forget that these policies and laws actually effect real people. They have fun sounding smart on talk shows and podcasts and enjoy the ego boost that getting published gives them without realizing that, oh if we do this somebody could die? Who knew?

I made this Mediterranean Tuna Salad. It’s super yummy. (I leave out the sun-dried tomatoes as they’re kind of expensive and the fresh parsley as it’s redundant with the parsley in the dressing and I use one can of regular old tuna.
