I don’t have any thoughtful insight to contribute on this topic. Just wanted to let you know that I read your comment as “The weekend wife and I...” and it made me chuckle.

No need for profanity, guy. You seem really angry about this and oddly passionate about gas stoves. Maybe you’ve spent too much time taking deep breaths around these things.

The analogy I was trying to draw was gas-powered cars took the cake from horses, and now electric cars are the future. My bad if it was clumsy,

You still ride a horse to work?

Here here. It’s 2023 — gas needs to go. Fossil fuel groups love peddling the line that gas ranges are superior, but induction ranges do a better job and don’t come with societal costs.

Hopefully they’ll film his cameo from Sing Sing; make it extra New York-y

Tried New Haven style twice in recent years, disappointed both times. It’s just burnt, big whoop.

QOTD: “Sure, the roof occasionally detached from the first few from the factory, but once it was back on, what a roof!”

Thanks for the laugh on a crappy monday.

Shale as the rock? Forget naive, that’s straight up igneous.

This is ridiculous. Everyone has better things to do with their money than waste it on a message that’ll likely go over the recipient’s head. If you have an issue with someone, grow up and discuss it. Do your damnedest to do it constructively, and if it doesn’t work at least you can say you tried.

Lesson learned: never let your blinker fluid run low.

Can someone explain to me why body-on-frame is desirable? Is it an off-roading thing?

I used to butcher this but now I think of it like “wooster + shur.” Helped immensely.

Same. Next car will definitely be a new EV, though I see the practicality of PHEVs. Regardless, I can’t support Toyota for their cowardly, reactionary stance on electrification and the fact they’ve quietly been supporting some absolute scumbags (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/toyota-political-donations-to-election-object

If I already spilled wine on the carpet then the only thing vodka will do is get me to eat four hot dogs at 2 a.m. while I pass out watching Futurama.

Don’t be shitty.

That sounds like a great solution and very conscientious. Best of health to your family!
