I think that compressed air isnt the best solution for dust in fans.i know it's not for everyone, but imo it's better to take the laptop apart, strip it down to the fan/heatsink assembly and remove the dust. Nahhhh Curiosity is much more complicated... MSL will use retrorockets to completely stop And hover a platform in mid-air and then lower the rover via a literal skyhook. The Russians are just using the rockets to slow the descent.

IMHO this is a cakewalk compared to how NASA is going to put MSL (Curiosity) down on Mars. Just saying.
