TI-BASIC was my first programming language. Without my Ti-84 I probably would not have learnt how to program.

Shoot in raw. Then compensate for all exposure errors in Lightroom.

Man, my plan right now is to save up enough money for a CPO and pay with cash.

Lighting, lighting, lighting. Even if you have the best story and angle in the world, bad lighting will ruin a good video.

You’ve basically outlined my KSP Duna trip architecture.

Also, try not to open new credit cards in the year or two before applying for the mortgage.

both Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve, yes. I’m not sure about just the Sapphire. Most Citi cards also have Citi Price Rewind (I have it with the AAdvantage Plat).

No no no no no. I would then ask them to find me an ad for that lower price, and then file a price protection claim :D

I’ve stopped paying (up front) the lowest price possible for things. It’s just too much hassle. Get it the most convenient way, and then fill out a price protection claim at home.

Or just buy them on a credit card that provides extra warranty!

No. Some companies (i.e. Chase) have a hard limit on how much credit they will extend (Chase is 50% of your income). Plus, getting anywhere close to your CL will hurt your score (it’s a huge red flag that you’re spending more than what you have); a 30% utilization is recommended by most places.

When the annual fee hits, call in, and ask to get it waived. Mention that you’re a long time customer and you’d like to keep the relationship going. You can usually get the fee waived or at least halved. Citi this year waived the fee on my AAdvantage card if I spent $95. If you really can't get the fee waived, ask for

.

What I’ve realized lately is that sometimes, to save money in the long run, you’d need to cough up money up front, which goes completely against the “save money” mentality. E.g. If you fly at least twice a year, it’s worth paying the $95 annual fee on a airline CC that gives you a free checked bag. Walking through

In flight entertainment is next to useless. I always just bring a book

A HUGE downside to the Costco card is that it doesn’t have travel delay/cancellation protection. If you don’t travel much much, then that’s ok. But otherwise I’d stick with the CSP for travel purchases, which gives 2.5% back on travel if the reward is spent on more travel.

OneDrive used to be great with Windows 8 and placeholder shadow files. That’s what set it apart from the other cloud storage desktop programs. The ability to selectively store individual files offline while still seeing everything in the folder is amazing. In Windows 10 it just became another run of the mill folder

Unlike most people, I embraced Win8, and it runs much faster than Win7. The start screen is so much more eye-pleasing than the old menu.

I’ve never seen/heard of any of these cards. What’s an example of one? (I know the Amex charge cards have no limit, but they’re charge cards)
