Spent Saturday out at my mom's farm and drank a lot of beer and took a lot of dumb pictures. Rather than go home afterwards, I went out, so yesterday I couldn't get out of bed. Rewatched all of Season 3 of Silicon Valley. Not so productive, but enjoyable save for the crippling hangover.

I always thought that the premise is sort of off-putting (women over a certain age are useless in the workplace, are unfuckable, etc.), but I imagine Sutton Foster would be charming enough to pull it off.

Ben Affleck sucks any and all possible charm out of this movie and I find it borderline unwatchable now.

On Sunday, I made some pork chops with shiitake mushrooms from a recipe that I got from the NY Times. The sauce was really good and easy - both dijon and grainy mustard and white wine vinegar. I also made scalloped potatoes for the first time, and they turned out OK considering I made up the recipe.

I paid off my student loans yesterday!!!!!!
