That's what I meant. And besides, I don't think the couples (wherein one has a woman who is way younger, one has a "controlling/neurotic wife", and a homosexual couple where one is seen as the more "emotional (feminine)") are very diverse or modern.

I always thought they were going for the title in a snarky way, since every component in that show is pretty stereotypical. /shrug

Of course they don't go together! He goes well with me!

Thank you! I don't understand it. I've been listening to LDR for some time now and I've never felt strongly about her either way.

I don't know how you all have gathered enough energy to love or hate her so much. Please tell me someone else doesn't care!

There's a difference between giving someone a compliment and catcalling. I've had both experiences. Once as I was waiting for the bus, a guy that was sitting with me said "you look pretty today". That's a compliment. Someone just yelling out "hey hot stuff!" as I walk alone in the street isn't giving me a compliment,

In a line right behind me! ;)

Why the heck would DIPLO need an OkCupid account?

I loved The Descendants and her performance in it was pretty great. I recommend it.

I guess some commenters have forgotten that they were once babies, and that their parents thought everything they did was cute.

Ugh. All this complaining about the baby drooling is annoying me. It's a baby. That's what a baby does. It's OK not to like babies, or want one. But why post it? I don't go to every video of something that I don't like and post "that's not cute" or "I don't want one of these".

Gah, this makes me so sad. Although I knew they probably wouldn't, I really wanted them to work!

I'm not Japanese, Korean, or a Gen X-er but I do like cats. I don't know about clinging to the "cutesy" being a generational thing though. Maybe people just like cute things?

Seconded. I'll wear Hello Kitty if I want to, and Charlize Theron can fuck off. If wearing HK makes me smile and I'm not at work, I'm sure as hell gonna do it.

That's what I was thinking! I love the concept of babies but I'm terrified of the pain they might inflict :(

Yup, she is blonde.

I think that when you are treating a person as if he/she is something to be bought/sold, it's safe to say that it's objectification.

That's true. What I meant was that both Lindsay and Megan went for the same beauty ideal though.
