As much as i like Jez for community and stuff relevant to my interests, I liked Gawker for actual current events. I’ll miss you, Gawker.

Once it’s shuttered, remind me to tell you how I got ungrayed on Gawker. I won’t tell anyone while it’s still operational - you’ll understand why when I do tell you - but it’s kinda funny, and atypically sweet, considering the venue.

I’ve been here since Lindy West signed on. Been through the kinja upheavals - lost my ‘star’ status, got tossed in the greys for a while - but I have appreciated almost every interaction I have had on Jezebel. The community here has been a lifesaver for me in many ways.
