The 2014 to 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has two electric motors, a single speed automatic transmission, the ability to run on partial or full time 4WD or FWD. The energy management is very complicated but oddly seamless and the biggest surprize of all is the are very reliable. It was a car that automotive writers

I love French cars, hell, I moved to France two years ago and bought a modern Peugeot. I also like the Renault 10, I know how comfortable those seats are and how supple the ride is even on this small a car. They were even fairly reliable, they made literally millions of those motors, BUT... I hate the way they present

Time to trade up to a Vinfast!

I have a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV here in France. Misubishi started selling these over ten years ago in Europe and had no competition for the first five years. They have proven remarkably trouble free and are rated up with Toyota for reliability. Speaking of which, I imagine Toyota’s PHEV’s will hold up very

Kia and Hyundai products are nice, and I like the Carnival but the real world milage on their vehicles tends to be far lower than advertised.

I voted NP on this as opposed to 70% of you, but then 70% of you voted NP on the money pit Disco yesterday, so go screw yerselves.

I hear you...

It took twenty two parts cars to keep this last one running... ND.

Sure, but those are mostly broken or unreliable, this isn’t

Actually a damn nice summer car that will last you another 20 summers, but get rid of those floor mats. NP.

My mother had the four door and I was later surprised to find that it is similar in size to the Maverick, it always appeared much larger. It is nicely kept so this is how I’m approaching this, I’m saying No Dice in this post, but I voted Nice Price in the poll...

Just what I need. a way to die even quicker... ND.

I’m 69, and while I don’t mind riding a regular bike, headwinds and hills are the death of me. If you have a good central motor e-bike, it does not do all the work for you. Unlike hub motors, e-bikes with central motors only move when you pedal so you are always pedaling and there is always resistance. The great thing

Just seeing the headline had me wondering how soon the words “Challenger” or “Charger” would appear and I was not disappointed. Sadly it was these cars, often being chased by kids in BMW’s or Civics with fart cans attached that would be running down the freeways in LA at a 100 mph endangering everyone’s lives.

I really hopes this sells well. I like what Lucid has done, (minus the Saudi connection) and I want to see them succeed. The only thing I don’t like about this and the Air as well is the damn panoramic glass roofs. As someone who has had basal cell carcinoma, I really want to keep the sun at bay.

You need to educate yourself son...

The Falcon would still be more reliable. ND.

I disagree, this is not a PHEV, this is like the Volt, the gas engine only acts as a generator for the electric motors.

All this tech on a German luxury car helped Lexus grow its customer base. Reports of BMW 7 series owners being locked in in their cars didn’t help their reputation, the Japanese just do tech much more reliably.

The GTR is largely ignored, except by cars who only get to see its tail lights...
