Just seeing the headline had me wondering how soon the words “Challenger” or “Charger” would appear and I was not disappointed. Sadly it was these cars, often being chased by kids in BMW’s or Civics with fart cans attached that would be running down the freeways in LA at a 100 mph endangering everyone’s lives.

I disagree, this is not a PHEV, this is like the Volt, the gas engine only acts as a generator for the electric motors.

All this tech on a German luxury car helped Lexus grow its customer base. Reports of BMW 7 series owners being locked in in their cars didn’t help their reputation, the Japanese just do tech much more reliably.

The GTR is largely ignored, except by cars who only get to see its tail lights...
