That Quicksilver is *awesome*.  Slow, but awesome.

Unlike the Panzertruck and the Fauxrarri, the Rodius isn't pretending to be something it's not.

Wanna bet? Here’s a Ssangyong Rodius.

I hate Nazi Musk as much as the next dude, and I dislike CyberTurds plenty, but people suck if they thinking harassing a person over their purchase is even remotely close to acceptable. He wanted attention, clearly, but any hate he gets should be limited to his ostentatious choices, not his barely tenable association

parts and know-how may be limited compared to other models

NP, with a frame check. Rock solid vehicle.

I hummed and hawed over a very similar truck for a very similar price a couple years ago.  It’s an awesome truck, and one of the few vehicles I wouldn’t have an issue with high mileage.  Every time I see one I experience a little dissonance over letting that one get away.  They haven’t lost any value in the years

NP. Presumably a lot of those miles are Texas highway miles, which probably put about as much stress on this motor as leaving it parked in the garage. And replacing the seats could be from a number of legit and not really concerning reasons — the sun, a dog, that colt 45 holster rubbing against the bolster...

A bit on the high side, but to get an equivalent new SUV with these specs in only marginally better shape, you’d have to pay close to three times as much. Close NP.

I have the “poor mans” version of the same year - 2006 4Runner Limited. Same engine, same platform... same car, really, just without the Lexus badge. I’d pay $16K just for the Toyota without all the Lexus panache... because the damn car is THAT good.

This platform is reliable as hell, parts aren’t overly expensive

I work at a Lexus dealership. My job is to work with customers in the service lane who want to sell or trade-in their aging Lexus. I’ve seen these, regularly, with over 300k miles and still running like new. We took one in on trade once with 350k miles, it was in good enough condition that we could put it on the used

Extremely clean example of early 2000s Toyota quality and has a UZ series V8, aka million mile motors. I’d feel better about it closer to 13-14 but I’ll throw it a NP. If you’ve ever experienced one, you’d probably say the same.

Maybe a grand or two high but still NP. This car is 20 years old - condition is more important than mileage, and the mileage itself isn’t even insane considering it’s a Toyota. The price floor on these cars in good shape is higher than you might think.

These are notorious for having cracked dash’s.

Parts are easy to find, but you have to pay to ship them from Europe. The real trick is going to be finding a mechanic who is willing to work on it.

Parts are easy to find in Europe, just have some patience with the delivery. The hydraulic spheres are pretty unique to Citroen, but there are plenty of DIY tutorials on YouTube on how to regas them.

What the hell, I’ll give it a NP. Looks pretty good, runs and drives, clean title, and it has AC! It’s a manual wagon! What more could you ask for?

You got that right.

That’s like saying the ante is cheap while you’re playing no-limit hold ’em.

That Audi’s about one major repair away from being one Hell of a parts car.
