I went in expecting to be disappointed with this movie and left crushed by the awful direction the broader Universal monster universe will go. Ugh. Made me miss Penny Dreadful even more than I already do.

This movie just made me miss Penny Dreadful even more. A C grade is charitable.

Fun fact: the porn parody of that film was titled Driving Miss Daisy Crazy.

I'm so glad that someone else remembers the "TELL ME YOU DO NOT SMELL THAT PEPPER" sketch. I would have loved him to come back as a recurring character but no one else seems to remember him. I thought I was losing it.

I've been playing it on PS VR - it is legitimately harrowing. (In the best way.)

Ha - Just Before Dawn is a little-seen slasher flick from the 80's for which I have a serious soft spot. Until Dawn is a great game! Looking forward to checking out Finch.
