Maybe! It’s been long rumored that One Piece is getting a Game of Thrones level budget and so far it shows. That video of the Baratie fills me with a lot of hope, as do all the interviews I’ve watched of folks involved with it. It seems like everyone involved is legitimately a huge fan of the series. I have much

Let me be the millionth person (surely) to call attention to the irony of the name of the studio. Wow.

Yep, called the tyranny of the default. The probably set up using all default settings and called it good. I remember back in the day (and still probably now) there was certain search terms you could place in google (with () and [] and other things) to bring up all searchable online webcams or security cameras. That

The product itself matters a lot when comparing regular sports to esports. Professional sports leagues around the world benefit greatly from both the relatively static nature of the sport and the built in loyalty fans have to the sport, leagues, and teams themselves. The clear athleticism of the players in any

Probably because it’s more reliant on the health of the game itself. We thought Overwatch would last forever but that really doesn’t seem to be the case with how ABK has bungled the IP. League seems to be doing very well and its esports ecosystem appears quite healthy.

I actually made the effort to not even go to the video page and look.  Really didn’t want to give this guy any sorta of metric hit.  I am sure even seeing an embded link in this article somehow gets back to Google and helps spread his brand

Yeah and the actual way they responded was *hilarious* too. Like if you haven’t heard it yet, watch Coffeezilla’s videos because they basically go ‘uh you should get the facts...but we’re not going to tell you that, but you should verify stuff’. It’s one of the most infuriating conversations I’ve ever seen.

it looks like this follow-up could break the record for gaps between entries in the franchise. The last longest was between the close of the series’ best trilogy (fight me), 2008's Underworld, and one of its worst entries, the awful, stupidly named 2013 reboot, Tomb Raider. I predict we’ll see this announced for

“Seems to me like poor QA, these need more time to polish the experience”

These are not free. Included with purchase of amz prime would be a better headline.

Except everything you have just listed is the exact same issue as the majority of human artists. Do those who are “inspired” by the masters or others pay them for the inspiration when they then copy aspects of those works? No. Do those who essentially write reports mostly just rewording another person’s report

You joke but just you wait for the inevitable outburst online when it gets good enough to sink the “I’ll draw your favourite fictional characters having sex” cottage industry.

Nah this is just the next iteration of luddites, people seeing that technology is making them redundant and as a result screaming cold-blooded murder. It’s not a process, it’s a craft. And you can’t replace that... except of course you can hence why already there are many digital art programs that automate more

Take it up with Disney. They basically wrote American copyright law for congress.

As a sensible counter point to this: IP definitely needs to be restructured and reimagined for a modern era, and that would GREATLY dilute copyright and what it means to be a holder, but of course copyright should exist in some form. Anything else is socialist fantasy. A nice one! But fantasy, nonetheless.

You’re right, it is a different situation.

LOL this is SO many companies with huge backlogs.  And part of the reason why when I was younger and still played emulated classic games I never felt bad.  Like if you don’t give us a way to play the game legally what do you expect to happen.  And while there are plenty who will argue, well just get one of the old

Also, this skin is so tilted that it’s gonna sell like hotcakes till we nerf it.  #CashGrab

Or maybe it was designed to sell like hotcakes for a reason.....$$$$$$$$$$$.
