(note Megan’s title). Right, the typos, grammar, incorrect names, etc really have been bad..but the content/message has gone quite astray lately, almost as if they are trying to write satire

Just awful, with kind of a bizarre fixation on me. Apparently I’ve been starring their comments! And apparently I won’t anymore! V weird.

I am MORTIFIED that I made this mistake and I have corrected it, I am so sorry.

God I thought it was a joke;. I am starting to think these writers are off the rails and there is no one even pretending to be an editor.

Yeah, that’s a pretty big miss. Especially, since he’s in the photo with her.

Not to be picky, but she’s married to William H. Macy, not Willem Dafoe.

This. This This This.

Some of these articles have been so bad (you feel nothing about Pelosi standing up to trump and all of them? ) I am thinking  they are deliberately writing crap to get responses and clicks to up their ad revenue. It can only be that or the editorial staff has completely left the building.

Thank you! I know, it’s something else isn’t it? lol

Yeah, this is not good. It’s like presenting your research at an academic conference and someone who really likes to hear themselves speak in the audience tells you the research would be better if it was on a totally different topic. It’s not a legitimate opinion about the work. I want to just say “Well then go do

I don’t think I’ve ever read a review on jezebel that followed this principle. It’s always about what the book/movie they wish existed, not the one under review. Which is why I come  to jezebel for a lot of things but culture/art is decidedly NOT one of them.

It’s funny that Kellyanne Conway went off on a reporter from the Washington Examiner since it’s a well known right wing rag. You know things are tense when they are fighting with the right wing media.

“So I’m not going to waste my time reading his story! I haven’t read She Said, but I’m intrigued.”

What a very interesting pair of sentences back to back. Sounds like you’re not going to “waste your time” reading She Said, either.

I’m pretty disappointed in Jezebel for publishing this as well -- it comes across as more of a personal gripe disguised as a review.

He wrote about their stories in his articles. This is his story about how people were trying to keep those articles from being published.  That’s an important story as well.

I think you are actually one of the commenters here who is missing the point of the book.. It’s about the process that people in power used to keep stories about harassment/abuse from being told publicly. If you want to read more about the specifics of what those amazingly brave women went through in being subjected

He WROTE THE STORY!  This is the story OF THE STORY!

I’d say that he’s a little more than tangentially involved, but ok.

This is a very dumb argument. So if someone said latinx people were bad, you couldn’t call it racist, because they didn’t say white people weren’t bad either.

Yeah, that was a really weird justification. For a moment I was trying to figure out if these were things done by Diana’s stepmother and why was it being in the first person?
