Alternatively, a guy switching parties like this is far more likely to vote like Doug Jones or Joe Manchin if he makes it to the Senate.

We just fucking had one in 2016.
Former Republican and served under the second Bush administration?
The climbers and sycophants in the Administration are looking for exits and trying to mitigate the damage to their own reputations. The true-believers have been preparing for this opportunity their whole lives and will do everything they possibly can before their fingers are pried from the wheel
For these groups, separation of Church and State is, itself, a form of persecution.
Devotion can only be proven through adversity, so they have to invent some or else they’ll feel like frauds!
Except this was entirely Stephen Miller’s idea. This is very much in the vision of this White House. It just happens Session being such a Grand Wizard wannabe is all too happy to implement it.
lol she sounds like a delight.
Asylum seekers can also present themselves at a port of entry to legally ask for asylum. They are being separated from their children, too, even though they are going through the correct, legal process. That’s what most people are so pissed about.
When you begin to move the goalposts as to what constitutes an “illegal immigrant,” looking for any clerical error or mistake to justify stripping someone of their citizenship, it no longer continues being a sincere attempt at curbing what would be considered stereotypical border jumping.
Because in our current polical system, big monumental changes are difficult to implement all at once? Because the Democratic party is so fragmented and segmented along the left-wing spectrum that you kinda have to be nuts to assume that getting huge, sweeping changes wouldn’t be met with some pushback?
This move doesn’t preclude vigorous policy debate, it prevents the primary from being as much of a slog through the mud as 2016 was. Even if a moderate Democrat wins the general, they would re-staff critical departments and stop separating families at the border. I’ll take what I can get and save the bigger fights…
My state is very specific; what sub-religion are you? Baptists and Methodists are a-ok, but Restorationists keep out. No Pentecostals and definitely no Presbyterians. We’ve had some real bad Christian-on-Christian violence in the past.
Fair. We also have a right to never buy Post Gazette and give it the finger. I hope this guy lands a job at a different news outlet.
I think you’re incorrectly belittling political cartoonists. Political cartoons are a staple of American history, have huge impacts and have been once of the most prominent forms of dissent and satire since the American Revolution. I bothered to find the PBS doc for you, so maybe you’ll change your opinion. www.pbs.org…
Republican leaders believe in that. But what do Republican voters believe in? What do Republican prospective students believe in.
Protest is speech genius. Your argument is that too much speech is bad.
. Can’t think of any bestiality stories
