Super Smash Bros Wii U is the most intense and light hearted fun I've had in a long time. I'm still getting used to some of the changes but I can already tell I'll love it more than Melee and Brawl (I didn't care for Brawl too much, not sure why).

To only present a story in a video-game would be to ignore nearly the entirety of the medium. Which, in turn, butchers the experience. Severely.
The last one is especially interesting. He thinks of games as an interactive medium first, as an experience, and not as a vessel for narrative. At the very least, he's less likely to have a button for paying respects. :)
