I live in CA too. The issue I have with Uber and Lyft is that they took somewhat okay jobs from taxi companies, and forced those drivers to convert to Uber and Lyft if they still wanted to get work. Then, they slowly decreased the commissions once taxis were no longer commonplace, which forced those who used to drive…
