Agreed on the safety standards, but I can’t believe how much those A-pillars conceal. I ride motorcycles and bicycles a lot and am hyper aware of my surroundings. However, I still get surprised by what modern A-pillars hide, but that’s not just a Honda Fit thing.

I like your style!

Yeah, I was surprised about the Fit suspension going bad. I don’t know if yours would have gone the same route, but ours is in bad shape. There were obvious cracks in the front bushings, and the a-arms would move easily with a small pry bar. Maybe we got a bad batch? Maybe it was due to a few years my girlfriend live

Hmm, you’re selling me on the newer models. :)

“The Honda Fit is close to a perfect, do-it-all car as has ever existed.

I’m not talking about height, I’m talking about the driving experience. Try toning it down a notch and backing off the attacks.

There might have been a big difference with the newer model, although I thought the underpinnings were pretty much the same.

My girlfriend has a 2009 Fit Sport, and I honestly hate it. Sure, it has a fair bit of room inside, but it’s miserable to drive and the suspension feels terrible with those tiny little wheels. It is very loud and wanders on the highway (even with new shocks, new a-arms, new tires, and a recent alignment), and is just

My girlfriend has a 2009 Fit Sport. It’s okay. The small wheels make the suspension wear out quickly. After 60k miles the rubber suspension bushings were shot and had to be replaced (entire a-arm I believe). The car still wanders on the highway and is difficult to drive even after I put on new KYB GR2 shocks at all

Damn it, you’re right. Opening craigslist now

I’m sure, and probably not in a supportive manner!

I like to think it’s my collection of the less-desirable Porsches. Restaurant owners in the hood know me by the collection, parents let their kids run around in my 1983 944 race car and act like they’re driving (with my permission), a local bar owner stopped by drunk as a skunk once and regaled my Rennwagon race team

Two Tel Aviv Citroens sit through the lockdown, through the lockdown, through the lockdown

You know what they say about assumptions... Also, why are you completely ignoring my other statements? Even without the solar component, I use my truck in a way that a van wouldn’t be beneficial unless I bought a MASSIVE van to replace my midsize truck.

Maybe from your point of view. I guess you know everyone’s point of view? France and the US are pretty much exactly the same, and you must be one of those Framericans, so I guess you know.

So, you know how everyone uses their trucks huh?

I personally hate working out of vans. Having to step inside a box to look for things is a huge pain versus being able to walk around the truck and reach in to grab what I need. I get vans for applications where equipment/goods need protection, but I’ve been a truck guy for a long time. I can also store sensitive

Oh shut up! That’s not the case at all. Trump badmouthed everyone who said they needed supplies, and wouldn’t work with the people who could make supplies. Then, when he realized he was wrong, he badmouthed the suppliers he initially refused to work with, and hasn’t yet agreed that those in need actually needed what

Enough of the spin. You know that’s not how this went down.
