Youch! Agreed on the challenge of building anything manufacturing related, but he is just one component. Most startups fail due to bad team dynamics (my opinion), and he might have the team to pull it off this time.

“Secret” or “secrete”?
Brand loyalty is for the peasants. Oh, wait...
Oh you! I thought I was going to do some work today, but I am now thoroughly entrenched in reading.
Yes, you are thinking correctly! More babies and more badass engine swaps. Seriously, you’re primed for kicking ass in this decade (the roaring twenties part deux). I think my plans this year are tight, but I’m jealous of yours.
Damn, that’s bad luck. I have found the complete opposite with my 2006 Nismo. It is pretty much bulletproof. Towing is a breeze, the power is nice, and it’s super comfy. I swapped in new Bilsteins when I bought it so it handles well.
Oh, I agree. It’s incredibly resilient to change in the countryside (desertside?). Just curious which years you were there.
When were you in Jordan and Egypt?

Swapping odometers is pretty easy and hard to spot. I bought a truck some years back that had 160,000 miles taken off with an odo swap. Old rangers apparently look the same regardless of miles. Couldn’t tell it had been swapped until an insurance adjuster told me after an accident.
You’re a modern day Ernest Shackleton! He explored new frontiers in nature. You explore different frontiers.
It’s really amazing looking at these old ads and remembering how unrefined those vehicles were as compared to similar vehicles from today. However, this Bronco was light years ahead of my 1962 Willy CJ5 as far as drivability, creature comforts, and power. I wish I could find a photo of my CJ5 to post. It was a sweet…
Yes it would to figure things out in advance! I am a tech CEO and do not believe that damned and idiotic mantra of “move fast and break things”. That’s what poorly planned companies and products do, not what legitimate and mature companies do.
Vectors for the win!
