Oh man. The RX-7 rabbit hole ended up with me owning a Porsche 928 and two 944 models. I still don’t know how that happened. I only wanted an RX-7!

Please ask the VCs that fund Uber and Lyft to instead pump money into public transit. Their payoff will come when cities buy autonomous buses and cars to replace their own drivers.
Oh, the indisputable logic of “you people” statements...
I see value in Uber and Lyft for what I usually would have used a taxi for. Otherwise, I skip them and take public transit, walk, or ride my bike. Well, that’s not entirely true. I get hit by Uber and Lyft drivers with some regularity on my bicycle, get cut off by them regularly when using my bicycle/motorcycle/car,…
“But we may have just hit the apex of stupid.”
£200 for a door seal is Porsche 928 pricing!
1 is a beautiful road with incredible scenery. If you want twisties that feel like roller coasters, then hunt out the roads between 1 and 101.
I think there’s a further distinction. Narrow cars like the Nash with narrow tracks look “tippy” to me while those wide American cars with inset wheels don’t. The Nash, old S10 and ranger pickup trucks, and even the Tango give me the heebiejeebies when I see them driving along. They look like they’ll tip on a hard…
Peter, nice work! I went through the same with a 1997 Ranger, but with a never ending succession of issues. The biggest issue being the prior owner swapped the odometer, and the truck had around 330K miles on it when I bought it and not 160K. Anyway, I feel your pain on lack of maintenance! I also wish my rear axle…
??? What’s cute about commuting in my Frontier when I can’t walk or ride a bicycle? Once my leg heals up I’ll be walking/cycling, but for now I’ll drive my 105K mile Frontier I just bought for my small business that I’ve sunk almost all of my savings into to keep paying my employees’ salaries as we wait for our first…
I so wish the jeep would have kept going and driven back up that hill.
Wow, you’re falling apart. Your logic is flawed, and your “facts” are nothing more than poor reading comprehension. Why don’t you stop fighting for something that doesn’t work, and try to find an actual solution.
Yeah, I was really disappointed with it when I saw my instantaneous MPG in the city. The comfy ride, 21MPG highway, and the fact that the truck motivated over 5000 pounds of gear, dirt bikes, people, and trailer up and over a 9500 foot pass with up to 26% grade without a complaint keeps me happy. :)
Yeah, those tariffs won’t be around forever. Waiting themout is a good option
That’s some poorly conflated info! For Christ’s sake, how can you be that stupid? Are you purposefully trying to deceive, are you really that ignorant, did you hand off your critical thinking to some talking head, are you a Russian troll? Damn, I’m so disappointed in you.
Are you really afraid of liberals? Is that why you need a gun? That’s a stupidly pathetic line of reasoning.
Yeah, that doesn’t work. Case in point being the Yountville shooting. Remember that one? A handful of young and battle-tested veterans in a facility with police officers and security guards and the shooter still came in and killed the three female staff (one was pregnant) at point blank range? I have a connection to…
Well, the 1990 944s2 isn’t ready, so I can’t bring it. HOWEVER, I just got the 928s back together, so I’m calling an audible and hopefully motivated my german corvette to the show!
I’m 4 weeks in on an S10 build plan. I think it’s officially a problem.
This is giving me 24 hours of LeMons ideas!
