Nailed it!
LOL! Do you? I drive past them every day on my bicycle as I commute to my office at 4th and Townsend, and can tell you every word I wrote is true. I’ve seen way too many surprised looks on Cruise drivers’ faces to feel comfortable with that tech.
Later that night the truck owner lectured his children on respect, compassion, and patience...as he does every night
GM is banking on that “Cruise” technology to enter the autonomous car world? The same Cruise that gets confused in rain, shits a brick when a bicycle is within 100 yards of an intersection, prefers to stop in the middle of intersections and reevaluate for a minute before going on, and which completely fucks up and…
I’m jealous you have one! Been debating getting another for my ffroad hooning. Sweetest jumping/landing stock vehicle that I can afford.
Connect it to weed and healthcare for a truly stratospheric valuation!
I thought the 4L60e was a solid trans, but I had a 4L60e in my S10 ZR2 and it started slipping and clunking before I reached 100k. I heard similar issues from other ZR2 owners too.
Does anyone else look at this and think it’d be a fun project? What’s wrong with me?

I really want to write a snarky reply, but I don’t want to continue adding fuel to this comment chain fire. My reply was satire, as was the original article.
We have a problem in America. A plague, if you will. We have an obsession with saving money by driving our small and fuel efficient cars around just so that we can afford to purchase disposable items. Those items will invariably lose their luster and must be thrown out. Too few garbage receptacle options exist, so I…
Edit: every time I see oneof these things I want to kick it over
Fantastic photos! Did you drive the 720s on that goat-trail road at all? I’m curious how it handles rough tarmac.
Just imagine an electric Lambo hurtling down the road with the electric motor whining away and spent batteries being combusted and spit out an exhaust cannon to light up its trail!
