Exactly! Personal car ownership didn’t really start ballooning into what it is now until what, the late 60s? It’s now slowly on the decline. Cars are temporary, as is the prevalence of ICEs.

He’s my new car hero! Dude has a spare shortened car with gull-wing doors just hanging around for “advanced” wheel testing.

I see why you’d say that, but that yellow paint was typical to the 200, and I don’t recall it on a 350. Regardless, that t-shirt looks period correct... as does his safety equipment!

Well said. His anecdote is not relevant to the strategic plan of a multi-billion dollar (valuation) company.

CB200? I was debating one of those for my girlfriend. I rode one once and could do a figure 8 across the width of one lane of traffic!

I’d be more worried about stopping. Panic brake = Vlad pancake!

I agree with schererna on this. Plus, Tesla isn’t being picked apart because they are making an inherently dangerous car, they’re being picked apart for numerous mistakes related to management, missing production targets, missing pricing targets, and for producing a technology that supposedly takes over for human

Ah yes, the venerable KZ440. My brother in law gave me oneof those years ago. Sweet little ride!

That’s a stupid reason.

I was looking for used trucks a while back and gave up on comparing the GM offerings because I didn’t feel like learning their parlance. The Frontier wasn’t much better, but at least it had fewer options.

I’m curious to hear what the damage is. Diesel shouldn’t combust in a gas engine, so the only issues should be draining the diesel out completely before refilling with gas.

Great story! Hope there’s a follow up

Lies! 10mpg in the city is perfectly reasonable. My 2007 Nissan Frontier 4.0 gets the same, and is still being sold brand new because it’s perfect and will never need another update.

Those hubcap centers are gawdy. I’ll limit my bidding to a Bajillion dollars minus 1.

Obvious solution: microchips and video cameras implanted in Policemen’s eyes and linked through bluetooth to their in-car laptops.

And stop license plate sticker theft! Ask me how I know about that.

LOL! I’ve been following this company since it started. A friend of mine kicked it off and got the legislation passed in CA and Florida to allow this on the road, and another friend of mine led the development of the hardware, embedded systems, and update software. Can’t say I ever understood the value of it. Not so

LOL: “or the straining sounds of your lower colon”.

I’m sure you can “rack” your brain for some good event.

I recently picked up a 2007 Frontier 2WD NISMO crew cab and love it. It’s a work truck and road trip vehicle for me. Towed 5000 pounds of gear and trailer back and forth over the Sonora pass (9600’) just after I bought it without a problem. It’s pretty basic, but an excellent work truck! Wish it got better fuel
