Is there a sequel? I’m curious how his second day went.

I’m in a similar boat to you, although I now determine which vehicles I’m going to buy according to expectations on depreciation. I have zero interest in buying depreciating vehicles, so that makes for some fun negotiating, and some fun purchasing. That’s how I ended up with a couple odd Porsches, a shit-canned Ford

Yes. It absolutely boggles my mind. I’d love to drive a car with suspension that well tuned.

Is there ATGATT for that?

Right?! I hope I never get stuck living in an HOA.

I don’t know if I agree with that. There’s the spirit of HOA rules that ensure a safe and cookie cutter existence for everyone in the neighborhood that they can rely on, and then there’s unintended hardship. I think the argument against this rule is more about unintended hardship than it is in keeping the spirit of

I was so hoping there’d be a montage of Raphael finishing off each drink in successive gulps with shots of the others spliced in over Sam’s voice. Why didn’t that beauteous masterpiece of cinema not happen?!

I have an odd fascination with the TR6 where I alternate between drooling over it and loathing it’s useful(less)ness. :) The 944 is a pretty usable car, and could easily be a daily driver. The rear seats have child seat mounting provisions, and there’s a lot of space in the back. Mine might just end up being a daily

Well, I already have two super desirable Porsches <cough cough>, a 928s and 944S2 that kinda run, so I don’t need any more “exotic” vehicles in the stable. I also have a 1997 Ranger with almost 400K miles that I use for work and activities. My goal next year is to get something newer and somewhat utilitarian to take

I really think you should hold out for something better. Put your time and effort towards a cultural icon and aesthetic masterpiece like the Honcho!

Real life review from a real life user!

Sound similar to what I’m dealing with on my 1982 Porsche 928s and my 1997 Ranger 2.3. If your speedo is electrically actuated, then check your grounds throughout the car. If the clutch is shuddering a lot (seems like a gear is messed up), then it might just be air in the clutch line to the slave cylinder.

Ex rally car eh? How about an adventure-mobile with some AT tires, mountain bike rack, fold out tent platform, and lockable storage? Kinda like this Porsche 944, but British... which is obviously better.

This can’t be real. Confusion during arrest only happens to idiots who deserve to be shot, and can’t possibly happen to educated Police officers. Next, you’re going to tell me that all those black and brown people who got shot didn’t deserve it. Pffft, like that’s believable.

Agreed! I recently rebranded my company for $4500. The agency that rebranded my company did the same at a similar rate for another company I know that had previously spent $250K on their first brand. A similar amount of work was done, with similar results and quality. Quality people provide quality products!

It sounds like a lot like electric motorcycles I’ve seen at the race tracks. I really like hearing the sound of the airflow, and I bet you’d hear the suspension working if you were nearby it.

Now playing

Those people are magicians! I really want one of them to get crafty and start building Honda RC166 replica engines so that I can buy one. Until then, I’ll settle for this tractor. It’s 1:30 into this video.

Dang, you might be one of the lucky ones. I have type O blood, I drink, and I’m athletic. Those are supposedly the three biggest factors in whether or not biting bugs find you attractive! I get bitten and swarmed just about everywhere I go unless I lather on the bug-off and wear long sleeves/pants.

I used to share the same opinion, but I’ve changed my mind lately. I live in SF and use my Ford Ranger for work. I haul a lot of gear, parts, and equipment in the back, as well as tow with it, but need 4 doors to take customers around.
