You are probably right. I was thinking they may go all out and be like, “On a very special black season of the Bachelorette” and then revert back to same old white show, but you are probably right that it would mess things up for the future white seasons.

Honestly I don’t think they will. They know who watches the show (white people) if they made the next bachelorette a POC they run the *risk* of having a POC be the following bachelor. I don’t think they would do back to back POC. However I think they are casting more POC for Bachelor in paradise for some drama.

My feeling is, if you are sufficiently ignorant of history and context to the point where you say things that are indistinguishable from things an actual bigot might say, your lack of awareness isn’t really a defense against the accusation.

That’s what I don’t get. He seems to be vain as hell, but NOTHING about him would indicate that. His hair is a joke, his skin is unnatural, he’s overweight, and he wears terrible-fitting clothes. I am always amazed at how poorly his clothes fit. I’m not shaming him for his body shape, I’m just confused. We know he’s a man who cares a lot about his image. We know he’s a man who claims to have buckets of money. Why does he always look like he’s dressed himself from the clearance rack at Sears?
