I am fighting the urge to watch it ... NOT watching it seems like the sane choice but I am also feeling this weird urge to watch it as a form of guilt for my portion of the collective responsibility.

The odds that that particular realization will occur seem very low.

Just wait until you’re closer to 40 than 30 ... the “they’re kids” phenomenon will continue to intensify.  (My doctor is closer to 50 than 40 and remarked when she became my PCP a couple years ago that I was ‘still young’.)

Steelers fan here. Honestly I’ve been taking less pleasure in almost all sports over the last few years because watching people destroy their long-term health for my entertainment does not hold a great deal of appeal. Especially sports like football and hockey.

Is anyone else experiencing the hellish Kinja notifications glitch that I am? It’s showing me my notifications from today and from 9 November 2016 and nothing in between.

As a Yinzer and Pens fan I realized they kind of are the Patriots of hockey last year. I try to tell myself that I don’t belong to the Patriots fanbase of hockey, though, and that is a comfort.
