Personally ... I was grossed out by the cultural appropriation and figured I’d sit the movie out. But then by the time the release day rolled around I thought, maybe that stuff won’t actually be in the movie and it would be nice to see all those cool effects on the big screen. I can understand the temptation to go see

There are a lot of puns in the comments section that I couldn’t bring myself to star. (Yes, I know you all care tremendously.)

If she does want the big chair she can point to this UN stint as experience with foreign policy and representing America on the international stage. Yuck.

Jared is a chain of jewelry stores located in the US. A line repeated in their commercials: “He went to Jared.” (They advertise a lot, esp. around gift-giving holidays ... it’s basically impossible to miss if you consume any media with audio(visual) advertising.)

Ah see the depressing thing is that I remember people calling September 11th “our Pearl Harbor” and becoming ... if not anti-Muslim then certainly caught up in waves of national feelings.

Look up the foundling wheel, or as it’s apparently called now, the baby hatch.

He thought John Kasich wasn’t dogmatic?? Now I’m questioning Cuban’s ability to evaluate information.

I’m disappointed that the touchdown was overturned (as a Pitt fan and because that was one of the most, frankly, beautiful things I’ve ever seen during a football game), but it seemed like Clemson’s dude made it across the plane with control of the ball to me. As much as I didn’t want that to be the case.

If only someone had asked whether Goodell expected Trump’s USFL experience to make Goodell’s job harder. Just for the brief nonplussed look on his face.

A tiny part of me is toying with the idea of trying to get a tubal ligation before the end of the year. That’s probably an overreaction. Probably.

Looking back he almost seems like an ordinary human with ordinary human flaws. (Maybe a little larger than average, idk.) Still a bad choice for the presidency, but not actively venal. Ah, nostalgia.

Yeah, I feel that.

I just read an article that claimed he cleaned up with white men, in PA specifically. (I am a white woman and apparently that demo was split 50/50 between him and Hillary. Feh.)

As a horrified and embarrassed Pennsylvanian—yep.

I feel so angry at the people who left their ballots blank for the presidential race.

Well, thanks, I guess. Useful to know. I can’t with the politic(ian)s right now so I am watching old episodes of Air Disasters instead of going for direct exposure.

Yeah, that’s how I’m afraid of this playing out. They’ll fall into line because their constituents voted for him and they want to keep their positions.

Maybe Belichick is angling for a Cabinet position. Health and Human Services, say. Or another presidentially appointed post.
