This was an awesome opportunity to take the Senate. Next midterms, most of the Senate seats up for re-election are Dem-occupied, IIRC. It’s hard not to think that it’s gonna get redder at the next midterms. We blew it, maybe for a generation or more given the likely effect on the Supreme Court.
