I can’t wait for this!! This is the first time I’m dipping my toe into a real “community” kind of game (never played an online shooter or strategy game since Starcraft 1). I don’t have a maker ID yet because I haven’t gotten around to making my little Mii guy and I’m still working my way through story mode.
This weekend is going to be full of Mario, with Super Mario Maker 2 and Mario Odyssey in heavy rotation. I’ve been meaning to get around to finishing Spider-Man for PS4 but Mario is just too delightful to put down!

that’s a good point; the recent Lovecraft-inspired game The Sinking City has a disclaimer in the beginning that acknowledges the author’s racism which I think was a good call on the dev’s part even whether or not the game fully delves into those themes. It can be done!
I’ve still never gotten around to Cuphead beyond watching an old roommate play through it- but every time I see King Dice, I’m reminded of this article, for good and for ill. Have you read this one? I don’t think I agree with most of it but it’s a fascinating read in general.
