Pretty sure you can turn that feature off, at least in returnal

good to know, thank you! yeah after watching the trailer i was like “wow if they can do any of these things well, this game will be awesome” but with a hunch that probably don’t hit all their marks

I have literally never heard of Greedfall until this moment, it looks amazing!

what are they pouring? gravy?

Brad Falcone? Any relation to Ben?

Watching the video took me down the path of reading that article; what a great piece of game design writing. I’ve always wanted to like adventure games but could never get into them for so many of the reasons touched upon in that video. Nicely done

Haha at E3 (probably the last E3 ever) they gave out toothbrushes to people who saw the demo

This is awesome! Subscribing immediately. Glad to hear the Splitscreen name is in good hands

No respect for the excellent link cable battles of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on GBC

I don’t twitter, but this thread is worth reading in its entirety

the reply i was looking for

It’s like people haven’t even read The Private Eye by Brian K. Vaughan

I really loved Dropmix, it seems like Fuser is the video game version of that which could be cool. I would absolutely play that drum RPG. Other than that, not a whole lot here for me but always love to see what’s coming down the pipe

This was a surprisingly nuanced read. I am very much team “I went digital and never looked back.... until the GOTY edition of whatever game goes on sale in a hard copy”. Overall I’m glad to be able to just download things and not have to deal with switching over discs. I have 12 box sets of Simpsons DVDs that I will

Oh man. I had no idea about TenNapel. I used to be a diehard Five Iron Frenzy fan back in the day and loved his album art. Even had a few of his graphic novels before I got rid of them during a move a few years back.

on the one hand, great! on the other, terrifying because there’s just no way that’s responsible

I work in a restaurant that is dependent on takeout from studios, and we have been dead since March! Really hoping that productions can come back in a safe way because if they don’t, we are going to be screwed. Congrats on the job, really hoping whatever you’re working on is being handled responsibly!

I’ll be playing the game of “scrolling through the [very good] itch bundle to see what the hell is in there”. Currently organizing by folders titled “games that I’ve heard are good”, “game design assets”, “zines”, and “tabletop stuff”.

Reminds of me of the one asking for submissions of people who hooked up during quarantine and what their experiences were like

SAME re: ghostwire tokyo! Hard to believe that was one of the most intriguing reveals from last E3 to instantly forgettable
