her read of the situation—that Annie and Owen are “soul mates”—is, at bottom, kind of what Maniac is asking us to accept about the two characters.

Unwoke? You’re the joke.
The fans aren’t upset. The trolls are upset. Trolls like you, fuckface.
Dr Muramoto did not create GRTA. Dr Fujita did.
She was injured, as you mentioned, but publicly stated that it was a scheduling conflict with her show. Could be a face-saving excuse or not, but better safe than sorry. I just wish her show was, idk, better? So it didn’t seem like such a missed opportunity.
I’ve always loved Picard as a character, but his place is leading his crew on his ship. Without all those elements, I just don’t see this working.
The cynic in me sees a shameless plow to get younger fans to loop back around to Weezer’s beginnings. “It’s like the music video for what song off that old album?”
Now that is a baller reputation right there.
Hard to say, but I sure hope so. She may have renegotiated some movie spots into those two AOS appearances, and I’m pretty sure it was only her commitment to Blindspot that kept her away from Ragnarok.
Liberalism supports free and open discourse
Gone, but not forgotten:
Nah, just less assholes and idiots like James Woods and his ilk.
Liberalism means being tolerant, not a doormat. The “idea” (more like a brainfart, really) that “liberals can’t stand up and fight bad things because they’re supposed to be tolerant of bad things otherwise they’re not genuinely liberal” is nothing but uneducated rightwing garbage. Bad behavior invites its own…
In particular, it turns out that during the B pill trial, Annie and Owen keep somehow “finding each other,” which, visually speaking, takes the form of their brainwaves coming together on Dr. Fujita’s computer.
If Kingsman 3 isn’t about Roxy/Lancelot returning from barely surviving her ignominious write-off in the 2nd movie hell-bent on righteous revenge against everyone who left her for dead, then don’t bother.
“This kids franchise doesn’t have enough moral ambiguity for me, and these heroes that everyone loves so much need to be brought down a peg or two.”
Indeed, it is sometimes frustrating to witness their continued squandering of the literal galaxy of potential stories they have available to them.
And we are just at the point where we’re gonna start making decisions about what comes next after J.J.’s. But I think we’re gonna be a little bit more careful about volume and timing.
They’ve been all over the place with naming conventions throughout the MCU. Iron Man and GotG are purely numerical, Cap and Thor used some really good subtitles (not counting The Dark World), and the progression from Ant-Man to Ant-Man & the Wasp is also a cool move. It leaves me curious what they’ll do going forward…
It wasn’t just a character...
