Even worse, he cheats on his wife and then promptly uses her as an ethnic shield for the racist shit he does.

A credit card with no foreign transaction fees is definitely the way to go. Just make sure it has a chip in it. You can use Visa or Mastercard at most major businesses, and pull money from ATMs at 7/11 or Family Mart for everything else.

The near complete absence of litter and public trash cans in Japan has led to my (probably foolishly optimistic) theory that maybe people in general don’t actually litter that much, it’s just rats and squirrels and birds pulling shit out of our trash cans all the damn time.

We’ll call it...Unicero.

Hey, maybe suggest a segment of a game in the comments!

Hold up, how is it possible for lane splitting to be legal and passing on the right to be illegal at the same time? The entire purpose of lane splitting is to pass between two cars, one of which necessarily must be on the right.

This video was a lot of fun to watch and listen to, you are a pretty dang good conversationalist, Tim. And well done on that buttery smooth final run.

That’s exactly where I’m at. It’s also tough to justify parting with ~$1000 when there are hundreds of perfectly excellent video games available to me with my PS4 and a PC that was mid-tier when I built it six years ago.

It seems the full description for the FFIV speedrun is cut off. Also, really weird to find out the Rivers McCown is speedrunning now. I read his football articles on BattleRedBlog years ago, and I remember him being a big Final Fantasy fan. Pretty cool to see his name again years later.

I was lucky enough to watch this live last night, and it was an absolute blast! I nearly turned the stream off before the run started because I’m generally not interested in RE games, but I’m glad I didn’t. It was definitely one of the most entertaining runs I’ve seen in all my years of watching GDQ.

The dialect in this game seems more Australian than British to me. So I did some googling and the developers work out of Queensland, Australia.

Because it will be the only place serving coffee in the park, because Starbucks will have a non-compete clause in the contract. And also because people are stupid assholes addicted to bad coffee.

Couldn’t find a US-friendly live version of this from the 70s, so here’s the unplugged version.

Having compared all three songs, this is the correct solution.

My biggest takeaway from this is that I’m a fan of the Ohio State player who immediately went to the sideline worker that got knocked down and patiently helped her to her feet while the altercation happened right next to them. Good on him and I hope that lady is alright.

People writing the past tense of “lead” as “lead” is probably the most common and understandable-but-still-aggravating writing mistake I see people make. I don’t think I have ever seen someone spell the element “lead” as “led” before now, though, that’s an interesting inversion.

Jameis Winston with the “oh shit no one is holding me back.”

My high school had our graduation ceremony at NRG Stadium (back when it was Reliant Stadium). My high school class was rather large (~1000 graduates) but it still made absolutely no sense from a capacity perspective. All the family members in attendance talked about how they were seated so far away from the stage that

Aren’t the Deadspin offices located in Brooklyn? I’m not normally one to rag on you guys for minor factual errors, but this one is kinda amusing considering y’all work on the dang island.

Hi Mick, thanks for providing some great local insight into all this. I’ve heard that white supremacists have been going to local magistrates to get charges pressed against counter-protesters from the riot. Most notably, DeAndre Harris, the black man who was pictured getting brutally attacked by a crowd of white Nazis
