If you haven't spun your tires yet, you ain't been off-road.

Jalopnik, loving the stock cars that we approve of, every other vehicle is crap. Doesn’t quite fit with the ethos of “jalopnik”, does it?

If the company you rent from charges you $4100, are you really going to consider renting from them again?

The fine print in every insurance policy I have ever seen says it is up to you to notify the insurance company of ANY changes, not theirs to ask.   If you change jobs and it adds a couple of miles to your commute, you are supposed to tell them, etc.   40 years ago, I bought a car when I turned 16 but the insurance

They don’t want that.

>$8K and won’t “recharge” the A/C?  You know the seller is lying.   High mileage cars don’t scare me at all, but they need to be priced accordingly.  This is a nice $2800 car, does not come close to a $8K+ value.

If the top is not structural, might using structural adhesives not cause a problem? I remember reading an article years ago about stock car racers who were taking uni-body cars and fully welding the sub-frames where the factory had stitch welded them, and they started tearing the sheetmetal in the floors because the

Yes he’s an idiot,  but also what track allows that? Every track I’ve ever been at requires safety equipment on all vehicles capable of speeds beyond a certain level.

But only one of the Nissans was malicious and evil.

So why exactly should he be forced to negotiate?  You may own something until someone with more money for lawyers wants what you own, therefore you must now negotiate a sale price?

They still are a thing.   www.advanced-autosports.com/collections/drive-gear

Ruined a Monte (and I’m not even a Chevy fan) and didn’t make a Rolls.  ND at anything more than $1K.

Most of them would speak Plautdietsch, which is a Russian Mennonite dialect of Low German (dialect in Northern Germany).  Most of Germany would speak High German.   Source: my family background is Russian Mennonite.

100% agree.  Most people have lost track of the concept of “get something you like” regardless of whether it is the popular or collectible choice.   Plus if you like the oddball stuff the price of admission is generally lower.  Counterpoint is that the price of maintaining may be higher due to scarcity of parts.

That’s an ugly Crown Vic.
