You finally see the end goal. Not sure if it’s true or not, but SEMA claimed years ago that the big 3 were lobbying the government saying they would guarantee that all emissions issues on a car would be covered for 10 years from manufacture if the government would force cars older than 10 years off the road.

The man is a cosmetic surgeon, so all about appearance and image. He just badly miscalculated on the image he wanted to project.

REK is also a partisan hack:

Actually they did cover at least some of it:

What one person calls rebuilt might be very different than what I would call a rebuild. Was this a re-ring, bearing and gasket replacement or a machined, blueprinted rebuild?  Or somewhere in between?  No details given so I would assume the former.

The question was “Do you feel lucky, punk?”

Both, one shortly after the other.

I agree.  Looking at the exterior, I was about to comment that this was far from the most egregious example of tackiness, but the interior changed my mind.  Still not the worst I’ve seen but definitely not palatable.

I would also argue that this was not a “peaceful” stop, as pointing a gun at a person to get them to comply, even if the weapon is not fired, is not “peaceful”.

He’s not facing charges of aggravated assault, attempted aggravated robbery and terroristic threatening in the first degree.”

As the driver of a FWD V70, I think the holy grail wagon should be RWD as well, or maybe AWD.  FWD is not holy grail territory in a wagon.

Per Trump’s claim that the intent of the tariffs is to force Canada to prevent illegal drugs and immigrants from entering the U.S., it would seem he wants to give up U.S. control of the border and outsource it to Canada.  Strange for someone who claims to want to make the U.S. stronger.

Original price $328750 per MT, depreciation of $223,750 so cost just in depreciation of $27.97/mile.   Ouch.   I hope the owner really enjoyed each of those miles.

One of his apologists said this was because he is autistic, and I think it is a valid point.  After all, every autistic person I know does this salute all the time.

How do you put 573 miles on a car with plastic on the seats and on the battery?

Blatantly

Dozens? There were thousands:

One of the first things my dad did when teaching me to drive was make me slide and spin the car on snow and learn how to recover and control the car. It did make it easier that in those days pretty much everything was closed on Sundays so there were lots of unplowed parking lots to practice on.

Drift heaven.
