Around here I have seen (several times) a person riding his bike with a trailer behind it and 3-5 partial or complete bikes in the trailer. He wasn’t doing the garage sale circuit. Beside the food bank is an encampment in the yard of a vacant house and at any given time there are multiple bicycles being stripped down.

I think you are misunderstanding what he is saying.  e-bikes were supposed to help with the environment but now have become their own problem/menace on trails or sidewalks.

We had a maintenance supervisor that was checking for air leaks around our paint booth doors with his cigarette lighter. Lit the flame and moved it around the edges of the doors looking for the flame to flicker. While the paint booth was in operation.  He’s no longer employed by the company.

That’s likely what this person did.  Then left it there.

$850 x 72 months = $61,200

Now playing

I prefer the version from two legends but can’t disagree.

Co-worker wanted a Rav-4 hybrid, and was told it was a minimum 18 month wait (in southern Ontario).

I did the street view from the 23rd St. side. It looks like you did it from the 39th Ave. side as that side shows 2019 pictures.

If you do Google street view, it shows concrete barriers there as of May 2023, but from what I have read elsewhere, these were not in place at the time of the accident.

In my experience, the people that have boxes of parts are those who work on the car themselves and know that the car will need something at some point.  Generally I find that most of them fix issues as they come up instead of leaving them.   If you don’t  have any parts for a car that is going to need work,  often

The person who leaves a gun unattended in their car is not the type of person who stores it in a safe in their home.

Even when they step out in front of traffic from in front of a car?  No, pedestrians need to take some responsibility to ensure they give drivers a chance to see them in time to react.

The witness quoted said he walked in front of their car after helping the ducks and they were talking to him. So a guy distracted by people talking to him, walks IN FRONT of a car back out in front of traffic. The driver that hit him probably didn't even see him until he stepped in front of the car.  Not worth risking

The welds on the roll cage on that Jetta look cold. Too much throat for the leg so I would be sceptical of proper penetration.  Not sure what kind of professional installed it but it doesn’t look like a professional welder did it.

Remember, the only thing that can stop a bad guy on a tractor is a good guy on a tractor.

The absolute best colour palette ever.

A tenth?  Have you priced automotive paint recently?  Also in a production environment you either have to have dedicated lines for each colour or flush the lines after each colour change.

I’m with you on that in large part.  There are lots of colours I like but am fairly certain I would not want to live with them long term.  If I can ever afford a 71 Challenger though, it will be Panther Pink or Plum Crazy.

Also extremely difficult to repair.

talks with Tesla are being led by the coordinating ministry for maritime affairs" - let's start the rumour that Tesla is branching into EV boats.
